So, it’s been a week since I saw the first photo (as you can tell by the old design) and since I edited it and posted it.
I think it’s not our own fault that 9969 people thought they were fat enough to reblog the first photo and none thought the second one was true (1 note counts for us posting it, 1 was a like).
THERE IS SOMETHING SERIOUSLY WRONG HERE AND I WOULD VERY MUCH APPRECIATE IT IF THE MEDIA WOULD STOP SCRUTINIZING THE FACT THAT WE ARE HUMAN. STOP PHOTOSHOPPING AND START PUTTING REAL PEOPLE BACK. PEOPLE ARE FLAWED!
ERRARE HUMANUM EST. Seneca said it in the first century. Why can’t we still understand it?
Take 90’s movies for example… Not all hair was perfect, not everyone was stick thin, not all the clothes matched. People looked like people. They were different and they were appreciated. Take Dolly Parton for an example. She was appreciated for her voice, not her big hair that was often out of whack. Take Sylvester Stallone, you don’t know what’s stranger, his voice or his eyes.
People were remembered. I can’t tell two actors apart in a same movie today.
STOP MAKING YOURSELF UNIFORM AND START LOVING YOURSELVES!!!
